Recently NDTV doled out Indian of the Year 2007 at Taj Palace hotel in New Delhi. Several prominent leaders, actors and businessmen were present at the glittering ceremony. Several awards were given and achievers were honored. Our super star, Rajnikanth bagged the 'Entertainer of the Year' award while SRK walked away with 'Special award.' Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh was awarded, 'Leader of the year' while Mukesh Ambani was awarded 'Business man of the year' award. Finally the 'Indian of the year' award was presented to the 'Indian Soldiers'. There was an interaction session with the award winning personalities in which SRK was very much involved. Rajnikanth praised SRK and said that he too will become a great actor. Rahul Gandhi asked for some useful advice for the politicians to SRK. Baadshah replied in style that they should not be corrupt, instead they should be proud of running the nation. The ceremony concluded with the interaction of Manmohan Singh.
