We are all aware that Vijaykanth's marriage hall and his engineering college are named as 'Aandal Azhagar' but only a few of us know that these names are actually his parents' names. He is having a desire of making his own film in this name so that it would be a tribute to his parents. But unfortunately, there is already film called 'Aandal Azhagar' in the making. This film does not have huge star cast and reputition. Director Magadurai is making it with relatively new faces. There are no protests from captain's side because these are the names of Gods worshiped widely in Madurai. Vijaykanth might feel that this film could also be a tribute to his parents.
