Bheema Review

Bheema the much 'awaited' Vikram starrer is out for the Pongal (it should have been released for the last year's Pongal, but anyway..). Has the movie lived upto its hype? That's the big question? The answer is unfortunately, 'No.' You have seen the story so many times on the silver screen and the screen play wasn't that good in the end. But there are several pluses in the movie which makes it to be termed moderate rather than the other way. Vikram is as usual in his sublime form. He is the son of a constable who grows up watching a goon. The goon becomes the role model for him. He is so much inspired by the goon that he starts working for him. The goon is none other than Prakash Raj. He impresses everyone with his looks and demeanor. Trisha is the usual pinning heroine, but for her looks. She is too good to watch in this movie. Harris Jeyaraj ended up giving yet another hit album from the dock. ' Mudhal Mazhai..' and 'Rashasiya Kanavugal..' are instant hits. But the music for action sequence is a bit lackluster. The climax is the main draw-back. There is too much of violence in this movie. My rating is 3.2 on a scale of 5
