Director - actor Ameer sustained fracture in his right hand while shooting for his ‘Yogi’, in which he is playing the lead role. The shooting was on at AVM Studios where a fighting scene was shot. Ameer, while jumping from 40 feet high sustained fracture in his right hand. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital.
Ameer, who proved his mettle as a director to reckon with in Kollywood with back -to-back hits in ‘Mounam Pesiyadhae’, ‘Ram’ and ‘Paruthiveeran’, is making his debut venture as hero with ‘Yogi’. Directed by Subramaniam Siva, the movie features Madhumitha opposite Ameer. Ameer has been advised rest for the next couple of weeks.
